Conakry, February 19, 2026 – The Minister of Planning, International Cooperation, and Development, Ismaël NABE, received Mr. Blaise AHOUANTCHEDE, CEO of Afrik Finances Holding, accompanied by his Special Advisor.
The focus of the discussions was the organization of FONI 2026 (International Forum on Intermediation, Digital Technology, and Innovation) in Conakry. This edition aims to support the financing of the Guinean economy, particularly in the sectors of agriculture, fisheries, industry, infrastructure, real estate (housing), and mining subcontracting.
Four masterclasses are planned: law, digital marketing, economic financing, and entrepreneurship.
The CEO of Afrik Finances Holding has requested the patronage of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mamadi DOUMBOUYA, as well as the support of the MPCID and the involvement of relevant ministerial departments.
Minister Ismaël NABE welcomed the choice of Conakry to host FONI 2026, highlighting the alignment of this initiative with the Simandou 2040 program, designed to bring about sustainable transformation in Guinea over the next fifteen years. He reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to supporting any initiative that contributes to revitalizing the national economy.
FONI remains a strategic hub bringing together major players in finance and digital technology in Africa, fostering innovation, financial inclusion, and transformative partnerships.
